April 15, 2014 Board Meeting Agenda Item #22 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #14-0021 FOR CONCRETE SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Concrete Services' were received from four vendors on February 18, 2014.  The bid of C-Squared CGC, Inc., was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications based on a sealed scenario.  The bid of McLeod Land Services, Inc., was non-responsive to the requirement of providing three commercial references.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of C-Squared CGC, Inc., to provide 'Concrete Services' in an amount not to exceed $120,000.00, be approved as presented.
